Crushed Metal effects on simple earthen ware Pots

A light gauge easily handled aluminum foil usually used for food stuff to wrap in oven cooking. The foil is soft enough to be easily crushed with hands. Then paste with simple white glue on the simple earthen pots. Let it dry and then apply dense black, pigmented India ink over the crushed foil. Apply it with simple cotton swab. It will give a rich metallic look to the pots.
Tooled metal has had many applications over years. Tin ceiling, popular in mid-19th to 20th century American buildings, roofs used in tropical climates, decorative lanterns and ornaments from Mexico, all of these are great examples of functional tool metal.
