Crushed Aluminum Foil gives silver metallic look to simple earthen ware

Extremely soft, pliable metal sheet in bright color make wonderful embellishments on earthen ware pots. 2mil light weight sheet accept the most intricate detail. 3or4 mil sheets also give very good results.
The aluminum foil is crushed with hands after measuring the size. Then the crushed piece is pasted over the pots with simple German white glue. A chemical Liver of sulphur is used for antiquing the silver. It changes color from silver to brownish giving the pots an antique metallic look.
